MEDIA ADVISORY
CITIZEN VOICE OFFERS GROUNDBREAKING HELP FOR ELECTION WEARY
VOTERS ALONG WITH STATEWIDE MEDIA INTERVIEWS

(April 22, 2009 – Sacramento, CA) – Citizen Voice, a non-partisan organization that involves
citizens in the public arena, is once again responding to the voters’ needs for easy-to-understand
help in making sense of California’s Statewide Special Election being held on Tuesday, May 19,
2009. Gary Dietrich, president of Citizen Voice, will be providing on-demand mini-debates with
representatives from both sides of each proposition. These 15-minute debates will launch Friday,

helpful proposition summaries will also be available. Prior to the November 2008 election, the
Citizen Voice website had over one-million hits from interested voters.

In conjunction with the mini-debates on the website, Dietrich will begin the Citizen Voice Nonpartisan
