California General Election November 7, 2006 Audio Interviews
Looking for a way to cut through the confusing election clutter? We've launched an ambitious and unprecedented project: unscripted, unedited, on-demand interviews with every major candidate in statewide races -- and with both sides of every statewide ballot measure -- specifically to help you, the voter.
With this unique project, you have the opportunity to hear directly from statewide candidates in California's 2006 election anytime, online at your convenience. Unlike 30-second ads, pre-packaged sound bites or election speeches spun by political campaigns, these are highly valuable, 10-minute interviews conducted by Gary Dietrich, a highly respected political analyst and the president of Citizen Voice, featuring the types of questions you're likely to want answered in order to help you make an informed decision before casting your vote.
Major candidates from statewide contested races were invited to participate. Therefore, you'll notice some candidates are not listed. Information about other candidates is available through the California Secretary of State and through some of the other resources we have listed on our voter links below such as the Easy Voter Guide.
