MEDIA ADVISORY
CITIZEN VOICE to Host Debate Between 4th Congressional District
Primary Candidates Doug Ose And Tom McClintock
May 28 At Sierra College
Free Tickets Available at www.CitizenVoice.org Beginning May 14, Seating Limited
WHAT: Eyes across California are on the 4th Congressional District primary race in Northern
California that involves former Congressman Doug Ose and State Senator Tom
McClintock as they compete for the slot on the Republican ticket. As John Doolittle
vacates a hotly contested seat that was listed as a national “top 10 target”, with the
national publicity that has followed, this race is drawing interest statewide. Not many
congressional races are this strongly contested and generate such tremendous public
interest. To help voters become well-informed in this important primary race, Citizen
Voice has teamed up with NewsTalk 1530 KFBK to broadcast the debate live and
stream it live online at CitizenVoice.org. The Roseville Chamber of Commerce -- with
1,800 members in the region employing tens of thousands of the region’s residents --
also is an important partner in this major campaign event.
Citizen Voice and its partners, NewsTalk 1530 KFBK and the Roseville Chamber of
Commerce, are committed to making this an event that truly is a service our region’s
citizens. Sponsors are being invited to join in helping to fund the event and bring it to
the public for free. Sponsorships are still available by calling Citizen Voice at (916) 503-
3194 or emailing lmurray@citizenvoice.org. This fall, Citizen Voice will present the
candidates from both major parties with the opportunity to participate in a similar
nonpartisan event to help voters get unfiltered, useful information straight from the
candidates prior to casting their ballots in the November general election for the 4th
Congressional district seat.
Tickets will be available at www.CitizenVoice.org beginning May 14. Tickets are free but
seating is limited so online registration is required to reserve a seat. An additional
listening area will be set up outside of the Dietrich Theater for overflow.
