CITIZEN VOICE OFFERS GROUNDBREAKING HELP FOR ELECTION
WEARY VOTERS

(April 30, 2009 – Sacramento, CA) – Citizen Voice, a non-partisan organization that
involves citizens in the public arena, is once again responding to the voters’ needs for
easy-to-understand help in making sense of California’s Statewide Special Election
being held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

Gary Dietrich, president of Citizen Voice and experienced non-partisan political analyst
and professional broadcaster, hosts the lively, short, on-demand mini-debates with
representatives from both sides of each proposition at www.citizenvoice.org. In addition
to the debates in video, audio and written form, helpful proposition summaries are also
available in both English and Spanish. The website is designed to serve as an easy-touse,
comprehensive voting tool kit for busy Californians. In a similar effort leading up to
the November 2008 election, the Citizen Voice website had over one-million hits from
interested voters.

In conjunction with the launch of this unique election resource, Dietrich will begin the
Citizen Voice Non-partisan Election Project 2009 statewide tour on Friday, May 1. This
2,000 mile media tour is designed to discuss the importance and impact of the Special
Election, the issues involved, and how voters can benefit from Citizen Voice’s “one-stopshop
for election weary voters” to help make informed choices.
